On Thursday April 30th from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Dave & Busters, join us for an HAEP Speaker Event: Wai to Kai - Addressing Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs) in Hawaiʻi.


This talk led by Lauryn Hansen will highlight findings from a statewide needs assessment of contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) in Hawaiʻi, identifying key management and research gaps and exploring paths toward coordinated regional monitoring. Drawing on insights from nearly 100 researchers, regulators, and environmental professionals nationwide, the presentation will also spark discussion on how consultants, scientists, and resource managers can collaborate to set monitoring priorities and improve CEC management across the state.
